Uttar Pradesh News : In Barabanki district of UP, the incident of murder of a Dalit minor girl after rape has come to light. The rape has been confirmed by the postmortem report. After which, Section 376 of IPC has been extended in the filed lawsuit. In this case, the police have picked up some suspects for questioning. It is being told that the police had done the last rites of the woman before the post mortem report came.
According to the information, a Dalit teenager, who went to harvest paddy in the field late Wednesday evening, was tortured by miscreants with his neck tied to his neck and then brutally murdered. Family members allege that the police was initially suppressing the case. But the post-mortem report, which came late on Thursday evening, confirmed the murder of strangulation after the rape. One more thing has come to light in this case that while the parents are telling the victim as a minor, the police is telling the girl as an adult.
Late night, Barabanki District Magistrate Dr. Adarsh Singh gave information about the heinous incident from the girl child. He issued a press note confirming the increase of 376 in the cases filed of 261/20, 302 IPC and directed to conduct a fair investigation into the incident.
There has been chaos in the village since the incident and the family members are crying foul. However, after the post mortem, the dead body of the girl has been cremated in the presence of police officers. With this, a heavy police force with PAC has been deployed in the village.
In its statement, the police said that yesterday, the body of an 18-year-old woman was found in a suspicious state in a field under the police station. After which the investigation of the case was started by registering a case under Section 302 of the IPC. In which section 376 has been increased on the basis of post mortem of the deceased. Along with this, Superintendent of Police RS Gautam said in his statement that this matter is being continuously investigated from the suspects who came in the preliminary investigation.
