Video of Meerut SP Anirudh Singh demanding bribe went viral, Akhilesh raised the question- “Will bulldozers be used now?&#

Meerut. A video of a police officer wearing uniform in UP is fast going viral on social media. In this video, he is asking a person to send Rs 20 lakh by evening. Please tell that the name of the police officer is Anirudh Singh and he is currently posted as SP Rural in Meerut.

Actually recently a video is going viral on social media. In this, 2018 batch IPS Anirudh Singh is seen telling someone through a video call that at least Rs 20 lakh should be delivered to him by evening without delay. While tweeting this video, the opposition is also fiercely targeting the Yogi government and the BJP.

Sharing the video, UP Congress wrote, “This is IPS Anirudh Singh. These days he is posted in Meerut. Publicly asking a businessman, ‘How much are you sending today?’ Then they say, ‘Send minimum 20’. That is, a demand of 20 lakhs without any hesitation. By the way, is this much money to be digested alone or from khaki-white to saffron are going to swallow it all together?

Akhilesh Yadav also shared this video and raised the question whether the bulldozer will still be used or this matter will also be suppressed. He wrote, “After this video of the recovery of an IPS in UP, will the direction of bulldozers change towards him or will the involved BJP government get this matter cleared by adding one more name to the list of absconding IPS. The people of UP are seeing that this is the truth of BJP’s false zero tolerance towards crime.

After the video went viral, IPS Anirudh Singh revealed the truth of this video. He told that this video is one and a half year old when he was ASP Chetganj, Varanasi and he has got clean chit in this matter. He said, “This is a video related to a case about one and a half years old. In which continuous efforts were being made by the accused party to influence. Then he was negotiated to trap him. All these things are in the notice of the top officers. Now someone has made this old video viral after a year and a half.

The Twitter handle of the Meerut Police also reacted to the video. He tweeted that The video is more than two years old which is not related to Meerut and investigation has also been completed regarding this episode.
