According to the Meteorological Department, the weather of Delhi will remain cold and foggy for the coming few days. Today and tomorrow the cold may increase further due to winds.
Effect of cold wave in UP
The effect of cold wave may intensify in many districts of Uttar Pradesh from today. Similar situation is likely to persist for the next two days. After this, further drop in temperature may be seen next week due to westerly winds.

IMD said that today there will be dark clouds over West Bengal and Odisha and light to moderate rain may occur in some parts of these states. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in Tamil Nadu and Poducherry till December 11.
Cold wave alert in eight cities of the country
IMD has issued a cold wave warning in eight cities of Bihar, Jharkhand and UP. Purnia, Kishanganj and Patna in Bihar; Ranchi in Jharkhand; And in Uttar Pradesh, cold wave alert has been issued in Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra and Prayagraj.
