“Whatever strategy you come in front of him, he will break you in every situation” this New Zealand player has praised Surya

At present, Indian team batsman Suryakumar Yadav is running in very good form. He is continuously scoring runs with his bat. He is currently the number one batsman in the world in T20 cricket. He is batting very well in every match. Surya has so far scored 3 centuries in T20 International cricket.

Everyone is a fan of his batting. Whenever he bats, everybody praises his batting. Here the opposing player becomes his admirer after seeing his batting.

Neesham praised fiercely

Recently, his adversary, New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham, recited odes in his praise. Neesham said

“He is currently the best T20 batsman in the world.”

During the conversation, Neesham also recalled his innings played at Mount Maunganui in New Zealand last year and said that watching him while he was playing was a different experience. He was hitting shots with 360° rotation and was reminding AB de Villiers with every shot.

During the conversation, Neesham also recalled the days of the Mumbai Indians camp two years ago. To which he said-

“I look back two years back when I joined the Mumbai Indians camp. After the first training, Trent Boult turned to me and said, “Look at this boy. He is the best batsman in the world in my opinion. I have never seen such a batsman before. This comment of Bolt was for the player of that team, which had big players like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard.

Neesham told Star Sports in a conversation that no matter what plan you come to him with, he always does the opposite of what you think. He reminds me a lot of AB de Villiers. However, this is not the first time that Suryakumar Yadav is being compared to the legendary South African batsman AB de Villiers. He has been compared to ABD on several occasions in the past as well.

On the other hand, if we look at Surya’s T20 statistics, Suryakumar Yadav made his T20 international debut in the year 2021 against England. He has played 46 T20 matches since then. In which he has scored 1625 runs at an average of 46.4. He has so far batted at a strike rate of 178.8. This includes his three centuries as well.
