Cyclone Dana: Red alert for rain in 7 districts of Odisha, huge devastation in Dhamra Bhadrak.



Cyclone Dana: According to IMD, the effect of the cyclone will continue till Friday afternoon, during which the wind speed is expected to be 100-110 km per hour. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of heavy to very heavy rain in seven districts. Heavy rains were reported in Mayurbhanj, Cuttack, Jajpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur districts.

There has been huge devastation in Dhamra Bhadrak, Odisha due to strong winds and heavy rains. Trees have fallen at many places.

The storm may weaken by this afternoon

Cyclone Dana has moved north-northwest with a speed of 10 kmph and is about 20 km north-northwest of Dhamra and 40 km from Hablikhati Nature Camp (Bhitarkanika) in North Coastal Odisha at 5.30 pm today i.e. 25th October. Is in the north. -Will be concentrated in the west direction. According to IMD, the process of landslide is going on and this process will continue for the next 1-2 hours. The cyclonic storm is likely to gradually weaken by this afternoon.
