Jharkhand election status, 13 percent voting at 9.30 am

Latest News :- The first phase of voting for the assembly elections in Jharkhand state is starting from 7 am today (November 13). Voters have been casting their votes eagerly since morning. In such a situation, till 9 am there is news of 13.04 percent votes cast. Out of the total 81 constituencies, voting is currently going on for 43 constituencies. Till 9 am, 13.04 percent votes were cast in the election. The highest turnout was 15.09 percent in Simdega assembly constituency, 12.06 percent in Ranchi and 14.62 percent in Seraikela-Garsavan assembly constituency.

The Election Commission has declared 950 polling places in 31 constituencies unsafe in the first phase of elections. Therefore the security there has been tightened. A total of 638 candidates are contesting in 43 constituencies. Of these, 73 are women. There are total 81 assembly constituencies in Jharkhand. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress are ruling India. JMM party leader Hemant Soran is the Chief Minister. The tenure of this legislature is going to end soon. After this, the Chief Election Commission announced that Jharkhand Assembly elections will be held in two phases on 13 and 20 November. According to this, voting is taking place today on 43 seats in the first phase.
