Tata Motors: Jaguar Land Rover will be made in India, work started in Tata Motors plant
Jaguar Land Rover: Tata Motors has started work on its new plant in Tamil Nadu. Apart from Tata, the next generation cars of Jaguar Land Rover will also be manufactured here. These cars will also be exported to other countries. Tata Sons and Tata Motors Chairman N Chandrasekaran and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin were also present at the inauguration ceremony. The plant is located at Panapakkam in Ranipet district. This plant is expected to create around 5000 jobs.
Around 5000 direct and indirect jobs will be created
On the occasion of the inauguration of the plant, N Chandrasekaran said that the cars manufactured here will be made keeping in mind not only the Indian market but also the foreign market. Luxury and electric vehicles will also be manufactured in the plant. About 5000 direct and indirect jobs will be generated from here. All facilities are available for the automobile industry in this state. Due to which skilled workers are also available here. Many Tata Group companies are working successfully here. Efforts will be made to provide maximum employment to women in this plant. Tata Motors has recently announced that JLR cars will be manufactured in India. This will be the first time a JLR car will be produced outside the UK.
Tata Motors Plant Rs. There will be an investment of Rs 9000 crore
Tata Motors has invested approximately Rs 1,000 crore in this new plant. There will be an investment of Rs 9000 crore. The plant will have an annual production capacity of approximately 2.5 lakh vehicles. Production will take place from here in several phases. Tata Motors Chairman N Chandrasekaran said that we are confident that we will reach this level of production in 5 to 7 years. On this occasion, Chief Minister MK Stalin said that the Tata Group has helped in the construction of the work. He has an old connection with Tamil Nadu. We welcome their new plant in Ranipet. The state government will provide full assistance to them in setting up this plant.
