Navratri 2024: Special importance of colors in the worship of 9 forms of Mother Goddess – Know which color to wear when!
This year Shardiya Navratri will be on 3rd October, Thursday. The nine colors of the day have special significance in the worship of Mother Goddess.
Goddess Maa Rock is worshiped on the first day of Navratri. On this day the devotee should wear yellow colored clothes. This color is a symbol of good luck.
– On the second day, on 4th October, Mother Brahmacharini is worshipped. On this day it is important to wear green color which is a symbol of growth, prosperity and stability.
– Mother Chandraghanta is worshiped on the third day on 5th October. On this day one should wear a veil and wear gray colored clothes.
-Maa Kushmanda is worshiped on the fourth day, 6th October. The auspicious color of this day is orange.
– Goddess Skanda Mata is worshiped on the fifth day, Saturday, 7 October. One should wear white clothes along with fasting on this day. This color keeps the mind calm.
– Goddess Katyayani is worshiped on Tuesday, 8th October, wear red clothes on this day and also offer red clothes to the mother, this will awaken new energy in life.
– Goddess Kalratri is worshiped on 9th October, the 7th day of Navratri. Dark blue colored clothes should be worn on this day.
– Mother Mahagauri is worshiped for 8 days on 10 October. Wear pink color on this day. It increases attraction and increases happiness and peace in the house.
-Goddess Siddhidatri is worshiped on the last day of Navratri i.e. 11th October. Purple colored clothes must be worn on this day.
