Drama in court in Saif Ali Khan case, two lawyers clash with accused
Saif Ali Khan Case: Bangladeshi citizen Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, arrested for assaulting Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, was produced in Bandra Court on Sunday. During this time, a strange situation arose in the court when two lawyers clashed with the accused and the court had to intervene.
Saif Ali Khan Case Shehzad is accused of illegally entering Saif Ali Khan's house with the intention of theft. He was arrested from Thane city and later produced before the Bandra-based Metropolitan Magistrate Court. The court asked the accused whether he had any complaint against the police, to which he replied in the negative. He was then taken to court, where a lawyer came forward to defend him.
But, when the lawyer was signing the plea agreement,
Suddenly, another lawyer came to the court and also signed the plea agreement of the accused, creating confusion as to who would represent the accused.
The situation became dramatic for the court and the magistrate had to intervene. He suggested both the lawyers to take Shehzad's side, on which both the lawyers agreed and the case proceeded amicably. After the controversy, the court sent Shehzad to police custody for five days. Police said that before arresting the accused, several suspects were detained on the basis of CCTV footage of actor Saif Ali Khan's house. Further investigation is ongoing in this matter.
