Latest News :- Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will grandly inaugurate India's first Constitution Museum at OP Jindal International University, Haryana on 26th. Roba, a state-of-the-art guide developed by IIT Chennai to assist visitors to the museum, was launched in Chennai yesterday. OP Jindal International University is located in Sonipat, Haryana state. The Constitution Museum has been established here in approximately 10,000 square feet area. There are more than 300 sculptures and paintings of people including Ambedkar, Rajendra Prasad, KM Munshi, the original copy of the Constitution of India, sculptures describing the Constitution, exhibitions, paintings, postage stamps etc. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will inaugurate the museum on November 26, the day the Constitution of India came into force.

IIT Chennai has developed a state-of-the-art guide robot to guide visitors in the museum. Its launch event took place in Chennai on Wednesday. Professor Venkatesh Balasubramaniam, head of the design engineering department of IIT, introduced the guiding robot. Jindal University Vice-Chancellor C. Rajkumar, Dean (Academic Administration) Padmanabha Ramanujam and students from IITs and Jindal University involved in robot design were present. Talking about the guide robot, IIT Professor Venkatesh Balasubramaniam said, “We have developed this robot with Artificial Intelligence technology.

It will tell visitors about the special features of the museum in English and Hindi. It will also answer audience questions. Jindal University Vice-Chancellor Rajkumar said the museum has been created with the aim of creating public awareness about the Constitution of India and its components used by all parties. Entry is free. It will remain open throughout the year.
