Patna. Bihar government has given a big facility to the drivers and has made it easier to solve the problems related to e-challan. It often happens that by mistake the challan is deducted on the wrong vehicle number or due to a technical error, wrong information is entered. Earlier, people had to visit transport offices several times to get rectification in such cases, but now this hassle will end.
Now complain about wrong e-challan online
The Transport Department has made the entire process of e-challan amendment online. For this, NIC (National Informatics Centre) has been instructed to prepare technical arrangements. According to the department, now drivers will be able to file complaints related to wrong e-challan from their mobile or computer.
Where and how to complain?
For this the official portal echallan.parivahan.gov.in is available. Here users can easily login and register their problem. The following documents have to be uploaded while filing the complaint. You will also be able to check the status of the application sitting at home by uploading the vehicle registration proof, photograph of the vehicle (if necessary), copy of the wrong e-challan, all the documents directly on the portal.
Facility available in both mediums
With the implementation of the new system, applications will be accepted both online and offline for some time. This will also provide convenience to those people who use digital medium less.

The department has urged all vehicle owners to use the online complaint facility instead of visiting offices in case of wrong challan. This will save time and make the process more transparent.
