1 big good news for ‘women’ in Bihar, government gave a gift
Patna. The state government has taken an important initiative to empower women and promote their talent in Bihar. The government has launched ‘Civil Services Incentive Scheme’ for women candidates who have succeeded in the 71st Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Combined Preliminary Examination. Under this scheme, a lump sum financial assistance of Rs 50,000 will be provided to eligible women.

The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial help to those women candidates of the state who are preparing for civil services. Through financial support, women will be helped in preparing for the main examination and women’s participation in state administration will be encouraged.
Eligibility and conditions
Some conditions have been set to avail the benefits of this scheme:
The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
Female candidate must have succeeded in BPSC 71st preliminary examination.
This incentive amount will be given only once.
Candidates who are already working in any government or state-based organization will not get this benefit.

Documents required for application
It is mandatory to submit the following documents at the time of application. Passport size photograph and signature, Bank passbook or signed canceled cheque, BPSC 71st Preliminary Exam Admit Card (self-attested copy), Caste Certificate, Aadhar Card and Residential Certificate.
