Lucknow. Many important decisions were taken in the recent cabinet meeting of the Uttar Pradesh government, which will directly impact the employees, farmers, youth and industrial sector. These decisions are being considered as big steps towards improving the development, employment and facilities of the state.
1. New transfer policy implemented
A new transfer policy has been implemented in the state for the year 2026-27. Transfers will be done by May 31 and transfer of officers who have completed 3 years of service in the district and 7 years in the division is certain.
2. Online and merit based transfer
Online and merit based system will be implemented to make the transfer process more transparent for Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ employees.
3. Relief to parents of disabled children
Such employees will be posted as per their convenience, so that they can take better care of their children.
4. Big relief in compensation to farmers
Now double compensation will be given for the land affected by the high tension line tower. Also, 30% compensation will be given on the land where wire is pulled.
5. 500 MW solar plan in JalaunT
A big solar plant will be set up in Jalaun, which will increase power production and create employment opportunities at the local level.
6. Establishment of new power station
To strengthen power distribution, a new power station will be built at a cost of Rs 653 crore.
7. ‘One District One Cuisine’ Scheme
This scheme will be launched to promote local food products, with special focus on quality and packaging.
8. Expansion of Textile Park
Textile and apparel parks will be developed in Nagina, Baheri, Amroha and Maghar, which will boost industry and employment.
9. Approval of new universities
Law University in Firozabad and Metro University in Noida have been allowed to operate, which will open new opportunities for education.
10. Target of planting 35 crore trees
For environmental protection, 35 crore saplings will be planted this year, of which 30% will be fruit plants.
Other important initiatives
OTT cell will be formed, in which financial experts will be appointed. The selection process will be through State Transformation Commission. New opportunities will be created for the youth
