10 month old girl saved the lives of 4 more children by sacrificing her life, got state honor
It is said that a person becomes great by his work, not by age. This has been proved true by just 10 month old little Aalin Sherin Abraham from Kerala. By making a sacrifice far beyond his years, Aalin gave life to four other innocent children. Saluting the courage and philanthropy of this little girl, the Kerala government bid her farewell with full state honours.
When Aalin’s mortal remains reached home on Tuesday morning in a small white coffin decorated with jasmine flowers, the eyes of everyone present there became moist. He was taken to St. Thomas CSI Church with state honours. From state ministers to the general public, a huge crowd gathered in the last journey. Everyone had come to pay obeisance to that little girl.

Why was Aalin given a state honor farewell?
Alin Sherin Abraham’s life took a tragic turn on February 5, when she was seriously injured during a car accident in Kottayam. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, he was declared brain dead. Amidst this grief, his parents Arun Abraham and Sherin N. John set an example. He decided to donate his daughter’s organs, so that the lamps of other houses could be saved from being extinguished. Aalin had rebuilt the desolate world of four families by donating his liver, kidney, cornea and heart valve.
Dada read emotional message
During a prayer meeting at the church, Reji Samuel, grandfather of Alin Sherin Abraham, said, ‘My granddaughter lived with us for only 20 months (10 months in the womb and 10 months on the ground) but she fulfilled her purpose. People ask if we are in pain? Yes, there is a lot of pain but we are relieved that today our Aalin is alive among four children.
