Terrorists attack police post in Pakistan, 10 security personnel killed

Peshawar: Once again security personnel were targeted in Pakistan. Militants attacked a security forces post in the restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. In which 10 soldiers were killed and three others were injured.

A police official said the security personnel were killed in an encounter that followed an attack on a check post in Daraban area of ​​Dera Ismail Khan district on Thursday. According to the official, a contingent of soldiers reached the spot immediately after the attack and a massive operation was launched to arrest the attackers.

Another officer said 10 soldiers lost their lives in the attack. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is active in the area and security forces have been targeted in many such attacks.
