10 year old Shravan had shown bravery in Operation Sindoor and helped Indian soldiers, now received an award from the President
Shravan Singh Operation Sindoor: President of India Draupadi Murmu honored children aged 5-18 years with the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award. Which is given every year for extraordinary achievements in the fields of bravery, art and culture, environment, innovation, science and technology, social service and sports. One name among the children who was honored is that of 10-year-old Shravan Singh from Punjab, who provided selfless help to the Indian soldiers during Operation Sindoor on the India-Pakistan border.

Shravan Singh is a resident of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) district of Punjab and comes from an ordinary family. He has been awarded the Prime Minister’s National Child Award 2025 in the bravery category for his contribution during Operation Sindoor. During Operation Sindoor, Shravan, despite his young age, displayed tremendous courage and compassion by coming forward to help the soldiers deployed near his village. Following this contribution, the Golden Division of the Indian Army announced that it would support Shravan’s studies, further appreciating his extraordinary contribution.
Shravan has been recognized as the youngest civilian contributor to this operation, and has received national praise for providing humanitarian assistance to Indian soldiers deployed in difficult and risky situations. Officials said his actions provided both physical relief and emotional boost to soldiers facing inclement weather and long duty hours.

AAP MP Raghav Chadha expressed happiness over Shravan being honored and wrote in his post, “10-year-old Shravan Singh from Chak Taran Wali village of Firozpur showed extraordinary courage and kindness.
