JP Nadda seeks detailed report from Chandrababu Naidu in Tirupati 'Prasadam' case, FSSAI to conduct investigation

New Delhi. After confirmation of the use of fish oil and animal fat in making the laddus offered as prasad at Tirupati Balaji temple in Andhra Pradesh, the central government has now sought a detailed report from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu in this matter. The government will get it investigated by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. Union Health Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda said that I have spoken to Chandra Babu Naidu on the phone today on this serious issue. I have asked the CM for a complete detailed investigation report in this matter. It will be investigated by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).

Nadda said that the central government is serious about this issue and anyone found involved in it will be given strict punishment. The central government will take further action based on the FSSAI report. At the same time, Union Minister and BJP leader Prahlad Joshi said that what the current CM of Andhra Pradesh Chandra Babu Naidu has revealed regarding Tirupati Prasad is a very serious and worrying issue because people's faith is deeply attached to it. A detailed investigation should be done in this entire matter and whoever is found guilty should be punished.

On this issue, senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, this is a complete attack on faith. This is a clear case of betrayal of faith. This is a well-planned conspiracy, faith is being deliberately targeted in favor of business interests. Those responsible for this betrayal should be punished. Let us tell you that in the investigation report of the Gujarat-based National Dairy Development Board, it has come to light that animal fat and fish oil were being used in making prasad laddus in Tirupati temple.
