Jagan Mohan Reddy broke his silence on Tirupati temple Prasadam dispute, the matter reached the Supreme Court

New Delhi. Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has broken his silence on the allegations against him regarding the Tirupati temple prasad and has targeted CM Chandrababu Naidu. On the other hand, a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court regarding this matter. YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy said that I myself am writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Supreme Court Chief Justice Justice DY Chandrachud in this regard. Reddy said that through this letter I will tell the PM and the CJI how the current Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu presented the facts in a distorted manner. Reddy also said that I will also mention in my letter why action should be taken against Naidu for doing this.

Let us tell you that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu had made a sensational disclosure that when Jagan Mohan Reddy's government was in power in the state, at that time, instead of ghee, fat made from animal fat was used in making laddus for Prasad in Tirupati Balaji temple. After Chandra Babu Naidu's allegations, the investigation report of the National Dairy Development Board confirmed that cow fat, fish oil and many other objectionable substances were used in making prasad laddus.

On the other hand, a petition has been filed in the apex court by lawyer Satyam Singh regarding this matter. In his petition, Satyam Singh has sought the intervention of the Supreme Court in this matter. Singh has argued in the petition that this is a violation of Article 25 of the Indian Constitution. Article 25 guarantees the right to follow religious customs and religious freedom.
