He praised the leadership of PM Narendra Modi for the victory in Haryana, while he congratulated the Election Commission, Jammu and Kashmir administration, security forces and the people of Jammu and Kashmir for peaceful and safe elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Amit Shah held Rahul Gandhi responsible for the defeat of Congress in Haryana and also targeted him. Amit Shah wrote on his social media post, Salute to the people of Veerbhoomi Haryana. This massive victory of BJP in Haryana is a victory of the unwavering faith of farmers, poor, backward classes, soldiers and youth in the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The people of Veerbhoomi have completely rejected the negative and divisive politics of Congress that divides on the basis of caste and region and have chosen BJP's 10-year track record of development and poor welfare.

Lashing out at Rahul Gandhi, he said, Haryana, the land of farmers and soldiers, has taught a lesson to those who insult the country by going abroad for their vote bank. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Haryana for giving BJP the opportunity to serve the state for the third consecutive time. Under the leadership of Modi ji, the central and state governments of BJP will fulfill all your aspirations and hopes. Shah said, whether it is the election of Modi ji at the Center for the third consecutive time or the formation of BJP government again and again in Haryana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and other states, it shows that the BJP led by Modi ji has made a difference in Indian politics. On the results of Jammu and Kashmir, the Union Home Minister said, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have blessed BJP with the highest percentage of votes in this assembly election and have given BJP the highest number of seats in the history so far. Under the leadership of Modi ji, BJP is committed to the development and security of Jammu and Kashmir. Shah said, in Jammu and Kashmir, under the Congress rule, there was only terror and democracy was murdered every day, whereas under the BJP rule, the great festival of democracy was celebrated with full glory and peace. The people of Jammu and Kashmir also remember well the 1987 assembly elections, when Congress made a mockery of democracy by openly rigging it. Democracy has now revived in the same Kashmir valley. People elected their representatives without intimidation and terror. Thanks to Prime Minister Modi for this unprecedented change.

The Home Minister said that Modi ji had promised the people of the country that we will conduct peaceful and fair elections in Jammu and Kashmir. I am extremely happy that for the first time after the advent of terrorism in the 80s, the people of Jammu and Kashmir witnessed such a transparent and peaceful election and participated enthusiastically in the elections. I heartily congratulate the Election Commission, Jammu and Kashmir Administration, Security Forces and the people of Jammu and Kashmir for these successful and historic elections.
