PM Modi also mentioned the assembly elections held in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the people there have given a reply to the separatists through successful elections. He also enumerated the works of his government and clearly indicated that even though BJP does not have majority on its own at the Centre, it will move towards implementing One Nation One Election and Secular Civil Code. It is clear from this indication of Modi that his government can bring bills in Parliament on these two important issues in the winter session of Parliament. While paying tribute to Sardar Patel, Modi mentioned the abolition of Article 370 and said that by doing so his government has fulfilled the dream of Sardar Patel.
PM Modi always remembers the contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Let us tell you that after India's independence, it was due to the strict stance of Sardar Patel that all the princely states had decided to come together. By adopting an opposition stance, Sardar Patel had forced the Hyderabad state, which was showing favoritism towards Pakistan, to surrender and through police action had made the Nizam's state an integral part of India. Because of this work of Sardar Patel, he is called Iron Man. Sardar Patel took important decisions for the unity of the country and never accepted pressure from anyone.
