BJP made Hemant Soren's election affidavit an issue, demanded registration of FIR.

New Delhi. BJP is now creating an issue regarding the information given by Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren in the affidavit filed for the assembly elections. BJP has raised questions on many other things related to the age of JMM leader Hemant Soren. Accusing him of giving wrong information, BJP has demanded cancellation of Hemant Soren's nomination and registration of FIR against him. On the other hand, JMM has defended Hemant Soren on these allegations of BJP.

BJP leader Pratul Sahdev said that according to the 2019 election affidavit, Hemant Soren's age at that time was 42 years, whereas in the affidavit given for the 2024 elections, he has stated his age as 49 years. Now how can a person's age increase by seven years in five years? The BJP leader sarcastically said that this can be possible only in the JMM government led by Hemant Soren. He had informed in 2019 that he had property worth Rs 10 lakh, but now it has reduced to Rs 4 lakh, whereas the price of property does not decrease anywhere in the world.

Sahdev said, apart from this, between 2004 and 2006, Hemant had purchased a property which he did not mention in the 2019 election affidavit but did mention it in the 2024 affidavit. Thus, it is clear that he has given a lot of wrong information in the affidavit and action should be taken against him for this. On the other hand, JMM's Rajya Sabha MP and Ranchi candidate Mahua Majhi, while defending Hemant Soren, blamed BJP itself. Mahua said that BJP does not want to contest elections on the issue of development, it tries to stab it in the back, but BJP will not get success. JMM will win in Jharkhand and we will form the government again.
