Patna. Mukesh Sahni is the head of Vikassheel Insaan Party i.e. VIP of Bihar and Lalu Yadav's RJD. During the Lok Sabha elections, the issue of Mukesh Sahni eating fish with Lalu's son Tejashwi Yadav was also heated. Now Mukesh Sahni has said something which may make RJD uncomfortable. According to the news of newspaper Dainik Jagran, Mukesh Sahni, while addressing the workers on Monday on the sixth foundation day of his party, has set a new target for the VIP party. This statement of Mukesh Sahni may cause problems to his ally RJD.

Mukesh Sahni, who is known as Son of Mallah, said in the foundation day program of VIP Party that now it has to be made a party with not 4 but 40 MLAs. He said that it is due to the hard work of the workers that VIP is moving forward. Mukesh Sahni said that we will survive only by providing rights to the poor, Dalits and backward people. Mukesh Sahni claimed to have support from every section of the society and said that now he has to win not 4 but 40 MLAs. He gave a mantra to the leaders and workers to start preparing for next year's Bihar Assembly elections and also urged them to maintain unity. Mukesh Sahni was with BJP before joining RJD.

Mukesh Sahni's father was murdered a few months ago. After which Mukesh Sahni was away from active politics due to grief, but now he has again entered the field with a bang. The task that he has given to the VIP party workers to make 40 MLAs, it is clear that he will demand at least this many seats from the RJD led Grand Alliance in the Bihar Assembly elections to be held in 2025. In 2020, only 4 MLAs from Mukesh Sahni's party were elected to the Bihar Assembly. Whereas, RJD of Lalu and Tejashwi Yadav had secured 75 seats.
