82.53 kg cocaine worth Rs 900 crore seized in Delhi, 4 arrested, Home Minister Amit Shah pats the back of narcotics officers
New Delhi. Taking action as per the orders of Union Home Minister Amit Shah towards completing the Drug Free India campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has once again taken major action. NCB has seized 82.53 kg of high potency cocaine from Janakpuri and Nangloi area of Delhi. Four people have also been arrested in this case. The value of the seized cocaine in the international market is estimated to be around Rs 900 crore. At the same time, Home Minister Amit Shah has also praised the officers of the Narcotics Department for this tremendous action.

Narcotics Control Bureau Deputy Director General Neeraj Kumar Gupta said that based on the tip received on November 11, we had earlier seized about 1 kg of cocaine from a small courier company and we were continuously following it. After this, we found about 73 packets in a house and more than 81.5 kg of cocaine was recovered from them. He told that the first parcel which was seized on November 11, was to be sent to Australia. Apart from this, a parcel was also seized in the month of August which was also to be sent to Australia.
Deputy Director General Neeraj Gupta said that soon we will catch the main people involved in this. In this case, two people were arrested on Friday, November 15, while two people were arrested today. The work of the two arrested people was to store and distribute cocaine. Whereas the job of one person was to book the parcel in the courier company. To protect the parcel from the scanner, these people had packed it in 6 layers.
