Election Commission notice to JP Nadda-Mallikarjun Kharge, reply sought by Monday, know what is the matter

New Delhi. Amidst the Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly election campaign, the Election Commission has sent a notice to BJP and Congress party. The Election Commission has sent separate letters to BJP President JP Nadda and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and asked them to file their replies by Monday. Actually, this notice has been sent by the Election Commission after Congress and BJP lodged complaints against each other. The Election Commission has mentioned the complaint filed by BJP on November 11 in the letter sent to the Congress President. In the letter sent to the BJP President, the Election Commission has mentioned two complaints lodged by the Congress on November 13. In this regard, reply has been sought from both of them by 1 pm on 18th November.

It is noteworthy that a delegation of BJP leaders led by Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal had gone before the Election Commission on November 11 and complained about Rahul Gandhi. BJP had alleged that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi was giving misleading information about the Constitution in Maharashtra. Along with this, BJP had also accused Rahul of creating differences between the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat through his statement.

On the other hand, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh had filed a complaint in the Election Commission against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The Congress leader had alleged that Narendra Modi and Amit Shah were instigating people through divisive, false and malicious speeches during the election campaign in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Let us tell you that the first phase of voting in Jharkhand has taken place on 13th November. Now the second phase of voting is to be held on November 20. Voting is to be held in Maharashtra also on 20th November for which all the parties including Congress and BJP are fully engaged in campaigning.
