According to the information of Railway Department, many trains coming towards Delhi are running late by 7-8 hours. This situation has increased the troubles of the passengers.
Delhi's AQI crosses 500
At 7 am on Tuesday, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded above 500 in many areas of Delhi. The average AQI was recorded at 494, which is the worst level this season. This dangerous mix of pollution and fog in the capital has made the problem of train delays and traffic disruptions more serious.

Supreme Court's instructions on schools
In view of increasing pollution in Delhi, all schools have been closed on the orders of the Supreme Court. Online classes are being started for the education of students. However, students of classes 10th and 12th have been allowed to go to school under special circumstances. Masks are being provided to these students. Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said, “The Delhi government is taking all necessary steps to control pollution.”

The Railway Department says that train operations are being affected due to fog and efforts are on to normalize the situation. Passengers have been advised to check train status before their journey.
