Ajit Pawar and Pankaja Munde protested, but CM Yogi's 'Batenge to Katenge' slogan worked for BJP in Maharashtra!
Mumbai The results and trends of Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 have made it clear that once again a grand alliance government is going to be formed in the state. BJP, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar's NCP, included in the grand alliance, have performed brilliantly, but the most important thing is the performance of BJP. In comparison to 2019, this time BJP has hoisted its flag at the top in Maharashtra Assembly elections. BJP has not only become the largest party in Maharashtra elections, it has also increased its seats tremendously.
According to the Election Commission data till 3.30 pm, BJP had won 12 assembly seats in Maharashtra and its candidates were ahead in 120 seats. That means a total of 132 seats seem to be in BJP's account. Whereas, in 2019, BJP had won only 105 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. The special thing is that this landslide victory of BJP in Maharashtra is also proving that the people of the state have given their support to the slogans given by PM Narendra Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath. In the Maharashtra elections, PM Modi had given the slogan 'If we are united, we are safe' and Yogi Adityanath had given the slogan of 'If we divide, we will be cut'. Even posters of Yogi's slogan were put up at many places in Mumbai.
At the same time, the opposition expressed by BJP's MLC Pankaja Munde and ally NCP's Ajit Pawar on Yogi Adityanath's slogan of 'Bantenge to Katenge', also evaporated due to the public support received by the party. Pankaja Munde and Ajit Pawar had given a formal statement that it is not right to give the slogan of 'Bantenge to Katenge' in Maharashtra and this narrative does not work here, but now that BJP seems to be surpassing its previous figure of assembly seats by a huge margin, It is clear that if Pankaja Munde and Ajit Pawar are divided, they will be defeated, but the objection that was raised did not seem to be becoming a reality anywhere and the slogans of PM Modi and Yogi Adityanath did not reach anywhere in the party or alliance. Didn't backfire for.
