Chinmay Krishna Das was arrested by Bangladesh Police on Monday on charges of treason. Recently, Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu had demonstrated on 22 November to protest against the attack on Hindus in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Due to this, treason action was taken against him. At the same time, Hindus demonstrated on a large scale in Dhaka and Chittagong in protest against the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das. After which Jamaat-e-Islami workers attacked the Hindus. More than 50 people from the Hindu community are reported to have been injured in this attack.
On the other hand, when Chinmoy Krishna Das was being taken to appear in the court, he called upon the Hindus to unite and continue the movement plan. Let us tell you that India had earlier lodged its objection with Bangladesh by adopting a strict stance in the matter of attacks on Hindus. After the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna, ISKCON has appealed to India to intervene in this matter. Chinmoy Krishna Das is a prominent leader of Bangladesh Sanatan Jagran Manch and President of Pundarik Dham of ISKCON Chittagong.
