Lashkar-e-Taiba's wanted terrorist Salman Khan extradited from Rwanda to India, Red Corner Notice was issued on the demand of NIA
New Delhi. Salman R, the wanted terrorist of terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. There has been success in bringing Khan to India. This terrorist extradited from Rwanda has been lodged in Bengaluru jail in a terrorist conspiracy case. On the demand of National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Interpol had issued a Red Corner Notice against Salman. According to NIA investigation, Salman Khan is accused of funding terrorist activities in India. In his arrest, the National Central Bureau of Interpol, located in Kigali, the capital of the Middle-East African country Rwanda, along with CBI and NIA, played an important role. Cases are also registered against Salman under the Arms Act and Anti-Explosives Act.
had planned a terrorist attack
According to sources, Salman Khan had planned a terrorist attack in Bengaluru in 2023. An FIR was also registered in this regard at Hebbal Police Station. While in jail in a POCSO case between 2018-2022, Salman is also accused of collecting explosive material for terrorist activities and distributing it to other terrorists. T. Naseer, who is serving life sentence in Bengaluru Central Jail, had trained Salman to adopt radical ideology and recruit terrorists.
Big success of NIA and CBI
CBI said that Salman Khan was taken into custody on 27 November and extradited to India on 28 November. According to NIA, this success was achieved with the help of Interpol and National Central Bureau.
In the framework of international cooperation in fighting cross-border crime, today, 27th Nov 2024, Rwanda has extradited Mr. Salman KHAN alias Salma (30 years) wanted by the Government of India for his association with a Terrorist group operating on its territory.

Two accused also returned from Saudi Arabia
Apart from Salman Khan, Indian investigative agencies also recently extradited two other accused—Barkat Ali Khan and Rehan Arabikkalarikal—from Saudi Arabia. One of them was wanted by CBI and the other by Kerala Police. In the last few years, more than 100 wanted criminals have been brought to India with the help of Interpol. In 2024 alone, 26 wanted accused were extradited.
