Regarding this, administrative officials have advised the local people to stay in their homes. In view of security, it has been decided to keep all schools and colleges closed on Saturday. According to the India Meteorological Department, the wind speed can reach up to 90 km per hour during the cyclone. District Magistrate A. Kulothungan reviewed the situation by holding a meeting with officials of the Public Works Department (PWD), local administration, police and other departments.
