New Delhi. Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi's name is also in the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) formed to discuss the One Nation-One Election Bill. This claim is being made in the news going on in the media. Apart from this, Randeep Surjewala, Manish Tiwari and Sukhdev Bhagat will also join JPC from Congress side. According to sources, Congress has finalized the names of these four MPs as JPC members. Now the names of these four will be sent to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. The 129th Constitution Amendment Bill for one country, one election was introduced in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

At the same time, if we talk about other parties included in the Indian alliance, from Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee and Saket Gokhale can be members of JPC. While MP Shrikant of Shivsena Shinde group will join as JPC member. Samajwadi Party can send Dharmendra Yadav's name to JPC. From DMK side, the names of P. Wilson and T Selvagethy can be sent to the JPC committee. The JPC committee includes members of both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha houses. However, the maximum number of members in the JPC will be decided by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
