Pick up Atul Pradhan and throw him out, Satish Mahana ordered the marshals, Tremendous uproar in UP Assembly

New Delhi. UP Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana is known for his gentle nature, but today his different and fierce form was seen in the House. There was tremendous squabbling between members of the ruling party and the opposition in the Assembly today. The argument between SP MLA Atul Pradhan and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna escalated so much that Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana had to intervene. At first, Satish Mahana stopped Atul Pradhan from raising indecent slogans but when he did not agree, the Assembly Speaker got angry. He asked the marshals to pick up Atul Pradhan and throw him out. With this, the Speaker of the Assembly expelled Atul Pradhan for the entire session.

Actually, SP MLA Atul Pradhan was blaming the government on the issue of health services, hospitals and medicines in the state. When Deputy CM and Health Minister Brajesh Pathak stood up to answer his point, Atul Pradhan and other opposition members started raising slogans. On this, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna intervened and asked Atul Pradhan to stop indecent sloganeering but Atul Pradhan did not agree. Suresh Khanna then turned to House Speaker Satish Mahana.

Despite Satish Mahana's explanation, when Atul Pradhan continued raising slogans, the speaker said that such language will not be tolerated. Mahana told Pradhan, I have already said that if any minister gives wrong information then he will be removed from the proceedings. Still you are using this kind of language. Mahana warned and said, under privilege I will cancel your membership. What are you talking about? Then he asked the marshals to pick up Atul Pradhan and throw him out. After this the proceedings of the House were adjourned for some time.
