Thakur said, Ambedkar was the architect of the Constitution, yet Congress conspired against him and worked to defeat him in the elections. I believe that Congress should apologize to the country for insulting Dr. Ambedkar. For years, Congress conspired to honor Baba Saheb with Bharat Ratna. When Dr. Ambedkar was finally awarded the Bharat Ratna, it was by a non-Congress government supported by the BJP. Congress has given Bharat Ratna only to its leaders.
