Dreaded terrorist trying to revive Muslim League arrested, has links with Tehreek-e-Mujahideen


New Delhi. A big terrorist has been caught in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. A joint team of STF of Jammu and Kashmir Police and West Bengal Police arrested notorious Kashmir terrorist Javed Munshi near Canning Hospital. Javed is accused of being a member of the banned Tehreek-e-Mujahideen organization in Kashmir and being involved in many subversive activities. According to the information, Jammu and Kashmir Police was searching for Javed Munshi for a long time.

Terrorist is IED specialist

According to police sources, Javed Munshi is a trained IED expert and weapon operator. He was involved in the murder of Ahl-e-Hadith leader Shaukat Shah in 2011. During interrogation, Javed confessed to traveling to Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan using a fake Pakistani passport. It is being told that Tehreek-e-Mujahideen organization operates from Pakistan and it also has contacts with other terrorist organizations.

Was plotting to revive Muslim League

In the court, government lawyer Vikas revealed that Javed Munshi was working with the aim of reviving the Muslim League. The court ordered to send him on transit remand till December 31. The lawyer said that the police have recovered a book, CD, plastic bag and many documents from Javed.

Terrorist handed over to Jammu and Kashmir Police

After the arrest, Javed Munshi was produced in Alipore Court, from where he was handed over to Jammu and Kashmir Police on transit remand. The police will now return to Kashmir with Javed and conduct further investigation.

Javed Munshi has already been sentenced to jail in terrorism related cases. According to security agencies, he used to receive instructions from Pakistan and other countries for subversive activities in the valley.
