Freedom from expensive water, tea and coffee at the airport soon, service started at cheaper price in Kolkata
New Delhi. If you feel like having tea, coffee or samosa and you are at the airport, then now it will not put much burden on your pocket. Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu has inaugurated Udan Yatri Cafe at Kolkata Airport. In this cafe, tea, coffee and other food items will be provided to the passengers at very affordable rates.

A bottle of water (500 ml) will be available at the flight passenger café for just ₹10. The price of tea and coffee has also been kept very affordable, where 100 ml tea will be available for ₹10 and 100 ml coffee for ₹20. Apart from this, one piece of samosa and sweet of the day will also be available for just ₹20. With this affordable rate chart, travelers will enjoy quality catering at affordable rates.
If at the airport you feel sad after seeing tea costing Rs 180, coffee costing Rs 250, sweets costing Rs 300 and a water bottle costing Rs 60, then this will not happen now. Soon, water bottles for ten rupees, tea for ten rupees, coffee for Rs. 20, a samosa for Rs. 20 and sweets for Rs. 20 will be available at airports across the country.

Union Minister Rammohan Naidu said on the occasion, “Our aim is to make air travel affordable and accessible to all. Udan Yatri Café will not only provide affordable food but will also improve the travel experience of passengers. “This initiative is an important step towards providing a democratic and comfortable experience to air passengers.”
Udan Yatri Cafe will open across the country
Udaan Yatri Café has been started from Kolkata's Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. The ministry plans to extend this model to other airports in the country as well. The Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Airport Authority of India (AAI) have taken this initiative forward.
