The day is not far when you… As soon as PM Narendra Modi said this, applause from NRIs echoed.

New Delhi. In the program organized on the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Indian diaspora has performed excellently across the world. Their achievements make us proud. Together we celebrate India, Indianness, connect with our roots. Along with this, Modi gave a message to the war-torn countries and said that the future is not in war but in Buddha.

Modi said, today when the world is surprised to see the power of Digital India, it affects all of us. Every sector in India is moving towards touching new heights, be it renewable energy, aviation or electric mobility, the huge metro network or the bullet train project, the pace of India's progress is breaking all records. Today, India is making 'Made in India' fighter aircraft, transport aircraft and the day is not far when you will come to India to celebrate Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas on a Made in India plane. Today's India not only puts forth its point strongly but also raises the voice of the Global South with full force.

PM Modi said that we are not only the mother of democracy, but democracy is a part of our life. Our life itself runs on diversity. We do not need to teach diversity, because our life is based on it. Therefore, wherever Indians go, they respect the rules and traditions of that place and sincerely serve that country and society, in their development and prosperity. Contribute. Along with all this, India also keeps beating in our hearts. We rejoice with every happiness of India and celebrate every achievement of the country.

The Prime Minister said, today's India is running on the mantra of 'development as well as heritage'. During G20, we held meetings in every corner of the country so that the world could experience the diversity of India firsthand. Today with pride, we organize events like Kasi Tamil Sangamam, Kasi Telugu Sangamam and Saurashtra Tamil Sangamam. In a few days, we will also celebrate Saint Thiruvalluvar Day. Our Government has decided to establish Thiruvalluvar Culture Center to spread the teachings of Saint Thiruvalluvar. The work of the first such center has started in Singapore.

The Prime Minister said, you know that India will remain the country with the youngest and most skilled population in the world for many decades to come. It is India that will meet a major part of the world's skill demand. You must have seen that many countries are now welcoming India's skilled workforce with open hearts. In this context, the Government of India is also working to ensure that every Indian going abroad goes with excellent skills. Therefore, we are continuously focusing in this direction.

Modi said, a few days ago I had visited Guyana, along with the President of that place I took part in the 'One Tree in the Name of Mother' initiative. Lakhs of people in India are engaged in such efforts. I encourage you to plant a tree or sapling in the name of your mother in the country where you live, I am confident that when you return to India, the determination of a developed India will go with you. Together we will build a developed India. I wish you all prosperity, good health and prosperity in the year 2025. With this hope, I once again welcome you all to India with greetings, felicitations and heartfelt thanks.
