Lauren Powell, wife of late Steve Jobs, will take bath in Amrit in Mahakumbh, Swami Kailashanand named her 'Kamala'


New Delhi. Laurene Powell Jobs, wife of Apple co-founder (late) Steve Jobs, will also take the nectar bath in Prayagraj Mahakumbh. Lauren will reach Prayagraj on 13 January and till 29 January she will stay in the camp of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand of Niranjani Akhara. Lauren will also do Kalpavas during this period. Swami Kailashanand has named her 'Kamala' while giving her the name of his Gotra. She will also be the first host of Katha starting from January 19 in the camp. Like her husband Steve, Lauren believes in Sanatan Dharma. During Kalpavas in Mahakumbh, she will be able to know Sanatan Dharma better.

On Laurene Powell Jobs participating in Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Ji Maharaj says that she is coming here to meet her Guru. We have named her Kamala and she is like our daughter. She is very affectionate towards me. She is coming to India for the second time. Everyone is welcome in Kumbh. Swami Kailashanand Maharaj said that I will introduce him to all the great men of my Akhara. It is a matter of pride for us that people of the world who are unfamiliar with it want to connect with our tradition. All the great people in the world are under the shelter of some sage, saint or great man.

Her late husband Steve Jobs also had deep faith and belief in Sanatan tradition. His stories of association with Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj are well known.
