Will Ladki Bahin Yojana continue in Maharashtra or not? CM Devendra Fadnavis gave an important statement on this. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis says Ladki Bahin Yojana and other schemes will continue.

Shirdi. There is a continuous discussion going on in Maharashtra that the Mahayuti government may stop the Ladki Bahin Yojana. Opposition parties are alleging that the names of many women have been removed from the eligibility of Ladki Bahin Scheme. Now an important statement has come from CM Devendra Fadnavis of Mahayuti government of Maharashtra on this. CM Devendra Fadnavis has said that many schemes including Ladki Bahin Yojana were brought in the interest of the weaker section of the society and women. He has made it clear that all the schemes including Ladki Bahin will be continued. Maharashtra CM gave this important statement in the two-day BJP state conference in Shirdi in Ahmednagar district. Let us tell you that when Eknath Shinde was the CM, the Mahayuti government had implemented the Ladki Bahin Yojana.

Devendra Fadnavis said that there is a rumor that we will stop Ladki Bahin Yojana and other welfare works. He said that the government is clearly saying that whatever schemes are being run for women, lower sections of the society and the poor, they will be continued. Devendra Fadnavis also said that along with these existing schemes, all the promises made by BJP in its election manifesto will also be implemented. Regarding Bangladeshi infiltrators in Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis said that the government has found that all the infiltrators have fake documents. Because of this, there is difficulty in expelling the infiltrators from the country.

When assembly elections were held in Maharashtra last year, the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance had performed brilliantly. Only BJP had won 132 out of 288 seats in the assembly. Whereas, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena won 57 seats and Ajit Pawar's NCP won 41 seats. At the same time, Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena-UBT, included in Mahavikas Aghadi, got 20 seats, Congress 16 and Sharad Pawar's NCP got only 10 seats. That means the opposition was completely wiped out in the Maharashtra Assembly elections.
