New Delhi. Another accident occurred today in Tirupati Balaji temple of Andhra Pradesh. Here suddenly a fire broke out near the laddu counter, after which the devotees present there started running here and there to save their lives. Due to the chaos, a stampede-like situation was created, although fortunately no one was injured during this period. As soon as the fire broke out in the temple premises, efforts were immediately started to extinguish it and it was soon brought under control. It is being told that the fire broke out due to short circuit.

After investigation, the team of experts found that the fire had started in the UPS of the computer. Actually, the cable through which power was being supplied in the UPS caught fire due to short circuit. The fire was extinguished in time before it could spread. If the fire had increased, it could have been a major incident. Let us tell you that a few days ago also an accident had occurred in Tirupati due to a stampede. On January 8, six devotees lost their lives in an accident at the Baikunth gate of the temple while many others were also injured.

This stampede occurred when a crowd of about 4 thousand people had gathered in the token queue for the 10-day special darshan of Lord Venkatesh. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had ordered an investigation into the stampede incident. The CM had also announced a compensation of Rs 25 lakh each to the families of the devotees who died in that incident. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also termed the stampede incident as tragic and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims. After this accident, the people of the temple administration are carrying out their work very cautiously.
