BJP released fourth list for Delhi Assembly elections 2025, declared candidates on 9 seats


New Delhi. Bharatiya Janata Party has released its fourth candidate list for Delhi Assembly elections 2025. In this list, names of candidates have been announced for 9 seats. There are a total of 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly, out of which BJP has so far decided candidates for 68 seats. It is being speculated that the remaining two seats may be given to the allies of the NDA alliance. BJP had released its first list on January 4, which included the names of 29 candidates. Among these, six turncoats who joined BJP from Aam Aadmi Party and Congress were also given tickets. In the first list, former MP Pravesh Verma was given ticket from New Delhi seat against Arvind Kejriwal and Ramesh Bidhuri was given ticket from Kalkaji against Chief Minister Atishi.

29 names in the second list also

BJP's second list came on January 11, in which candidates were declared for 29 seats. 5 women candidates were also included in this list. In the second list, Kapil Mishra was given ticket from Karawal Nagar, Raj Karan Khatri from Narela and Surya Prakash Khatri from Timarpur. Other candidates included names like Gajendra Daral (Mundka), Bajrang Shukla (Kiradi), Karam Singh Karma (Sultanpur Majra) and Tilak Ram Gupta (Trinagar).

Details of third list and fourth list

There was only one candidate's name in the third list. Mohan Singh Bisht was given ticket from Mustafabad seat. At the same time, now the names of candidates for 9 seats have been declared in the fourth list.

Date of voting and results

Voting will be held in Delhi on 5 February and the results will be announced on 8 February. The process of nomination of candidates is going on and the last day for nomination is January 17. BJP will also have to declare the candidates for the remaining two seats soon so that the party can enter the electoral fray on all the seats with full preparation.

Now that the fourth list has also been released, the eyes of the people of Delhi are on this election bet of BJP. Candidates for the remaining seats under the alliance may be announced in the next few hours. Party strategists have made a lot of preparations for these elections, which indicates an interesting electoral environment in Delhi.
