Doctors at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital performed surgery and removed a two and a half inch piece of knife from his body. The doctor of Lilavati Hospital said that when Saif reached the hospital, he was soaked in blood. Despite this, he was walking like a lion and did not even ask for a stretcher. Saif came to the hospital with his son Taimur. Now his condition is stable and he has been shifted from ICU to special ward.

Doctor's special attention on Saif's health

According to doctors, Saif has a spinal cord injury. In view of the risk of infection, no visitors have been allowed to meet him yet. Doctors have said that one week's bed rest is necessary. Saif's health is being monitored and he may be discharged from the hospital in the next 2-3 days. Saif Ali Khan is now out of danger and is recovering fast. Doctors have also said that he was extremely fortunate to have survived the accident.
