To protect our religion, we will have to do those things which other people term as unrighteous and our ancestors have also been doing such things. Citing the Mahabharata war, he said the Pandavas had ignored the rules of war to protect dharma and eliminate 'adharma'. He said that apart from India, there is no other country which is capable of taking everyone along. If we consider the whole world as one family then all disputes will end. Joshi said, we have an ancient tradition in which free food is provided to about 1 crore people every day in temples and Gurudwaras. Hindu religious organizations not only conduct rituals but also run schools, gurukuls and hospitals. When people call themselves Hindu, it encompasses a wide variety of aspects, he said, including religion, spirituality, ideology, service and lifestyle. Humanity is at the center of Hinduism.
