Government has ordered a high-level investigation into the Indigo Airlines crisis. Action will be taken once accountability is established.


New Delhi. Taking the Indigo Airlines crisis seriously, the government has ordered a high-level inquiry into the matter. The Ministry of Civil Aviation has said that it should be found out what went wrong in IndiGo, who is responsible for it? After investigation in the case, accountability will be fixed and action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. For this, a four-member inquiry committee has been formed. Joint Director General Sanjay K. is included in this committee. Bramhane, Deputy Director General Amit Gupta, Captain Kapil Manglik SFOI and Captain Lokesh Rampal FOI.

This four-member committee will submit its report in 15 days. Along with this, measures will be suggested to prevent such crises in future, so that passengers are not forced to face such situations again. Earlier, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has put an immediate halt to the Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL) order. This decision has been taken in the interest of passengers, without any compromise with air safety. Efforts are also being made for early resumption of airline services. It is expected that all flight schedules will start becoming normal from midnight today.

Meanwhile, Indigo Airlines CEO Peter Albers says that it will take some time for the situation to become completely normal. He expressed hope that the situation will become normal by December 10-15. He said, December 5 was the most affected day, about a thousand flights were cancelled. He has apologized to the passengers for the inconvenience caused. On the other hand, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said that the convenience and safety of passengers is the top priority of the Central Government and will remain so in future also.
