Azam Khan and son Abdullah’s problems will increase!, Prosecution appealed to the Sessions Court to increase the sentence in the two passport cases. In double passport case prosecution has appealed for increase in the sentences of Azam Khan and Abdullah Azam.

Rampur. The troubles of SP leader and former UP minister Azam Khan and his son Abdullah Azam are continuously increasing. Now the prosecution has appealed in the sessions court to increase the 7-year sentence given to Azam Khan and Abdullah Azam in the two PAN card cases. At the same time, the lawyers of Azam Khan and Abdullah Azam have appealed for relief in punishment. Now the appeals filed in Rampur Sessions Court regarding Azam Khan and Abdullah Azam will be heard again on December 23.

Recently, the MP/MLA court had sentenced Azam Khan and Abdullah Azam to 7-7 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50,000 each in two PAN card cases. The lawyers of Azam Khan and Abdullah Azam appealed against this sentence to the Sessions Judge in Rampur. After this appeal, the prosecution also appealed to increase the sentence of Azam and Abdullah. Both the appeals were heard on Friday. Now after hearing the arguments given by Azam-Abdullah and the prosecution, the Sessions Court will decide whether to grant relief to the former minister and his son or increase the punishment.

BJP MLA Akash Saxena had filed a case against Abdullah Azam for having two passports with different dates of birth. In the case registered in the year 2019, it was said that the accused had also traveled abroad on one of these passports. In this matter, Abdullah Azam had also tried for relief from the Supreme Court, but there was a clear refusal to cancel the case. Abdullah Azam and Azam Khan were accused of getting passports made through fake and forged documents. Abdullah Azam’s date of birth in educational certificates is 1 January 1983. Whereas, the date of birth written on the passport is 30 September 1990. Azam Khan and Abdullah Azam are also accused in the case of PAN cards with two different dates of birth. In such a situation, Azam and Abdullah can come out of jail only if the Sessions Court reduces their sentence in the passport case to 2 years.
