Supreme Court On Banke Bihari Temple: Supreme Court notice to the committee of the famous Banke Bihari Temple of Mathura, servants have filed a petition against the order to extend the darshan time.

New Delhi. The Supreme Court has once again issued a notice in the case of the famous Banke Bihari temple built in Mathura, UP. The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the high-powered committee formed by it. This committee looks after the management of Banke Bihari Temple. On September 12, the committee formed by the Supreme Court had ordered to increase the time of darshan of God by about 2.45 hours every day. A petition was filed in the Supreme Court against this order. On which the Supreme Court has sought a reply from the committee.

The high-powered committee from the Supreme Court ordered to increase the time of darshan of Thakur ji to control the crowd of devotees, but the servants of Banke Bihari temple did not implement the order of the committee. The servants of Banke Bihari Temple moved the Supreme Court instead. He filed a petition in the Supreme Court saying that Thakur ji’s service was done in the form of a child. For this reason, Thakur ji of Banke Bihari temple needs to be given enough time for rest. The servants said that if the darshan time in Banke Bihari temple is extended, Thakur ji’s rest will be disturbed.

On Monday, CJI Surya Kant’s bench heard the petition filed by the servants of Banke Bihari Temple. After which the Supreme Court bench issued a notice seeking reply from its high-powered committee. The Supreme Court will now hear further in the first week of January 2026 in the matter of extending the darshan timings in Banke Bihari temple. Let us tell you that this year the Supreme Court had formed a high-powered committee to look after the management of Banke Bihari Temple. Earlier, the Sevayat Goswami community of the temple was looking after the management of Banke Bihari temple. The issue of disorder during darshan in Banke Bihari temple has also come to light many times. Now the committee formed by the Supreme Court takes all the decisions related to management.
