Vehicles without pollution certificates will not be able to get petrol and diesel in Delhi from December 18, vehicles below BS-6 will remain banned.
New Delhi. The government is going to take some strict steps to get rid of the deepening problem of pollution in Delhi. From December 18, vehicles which do not have Pollution Control Certificate (PUCC) will not be able to get petrol and diesel at the pumps in Delhi. Any vehicle of any kind found transporting construction material within Delhi will be seized. All vehicles from outside Delhi which are below BS-6 category and are not registered in Delhi will also not be able to enter the capital and if such vehicles are found running on the road, they will be seized.

Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, I want to apologize to the people of Delhi and say that it is impossible for any government to reduce the Air Quality Index (AQI) in 9-10 months. Our government has reduced the AQI every day due to the dishonesty of the Aam Aadmi Party government. In this way it is possible to provide clean air to Delhi. This is the disease of 10 years of Aam Aadmi Party and 15 years of Congress. There is pollution in Delhi and this disease has been given by Aam Aadmi Party and we are trying to cure that disease.

Sirsa said that to solve the pollution caused by burning wood in Delhi, we have provided 10,000 heaters to the security guards on night duty so that they no longer need to burn wood. Taking strict action against diesel generators in Delhi, instructions have been given that all will have to follow CAQM standards and install catalytic converters. So far, 32 generators have been verified and action has been taken against those not following the standards. Instructions have also been issued to banquet halls.
