New Delhi. Sonam Raghuvanshi, the main accused in the famous Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, has received a shock from the Shillong court. The court has rejected Sonam’s bail plea. Raja and Sonam, residents of Indore, had gone to Meghalaya for honeymoon after their marriage in May this year. Sonam is accused of killing her husband Raja Raghuvanshi in Shillong during their honeymoon along with her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha with the help of three hired killers. This matter was much discussed after it came to light. There were many shocking revelations in this case.

Meghalaya Police has filed a 700-page charge sheet in this case. According to Aaj Tak’s news, in the bail petition filed by Sonam Raghuvanshi, she had claimed her innocence. Sonam said that all the allegations made against her are baseless. According to Sonam, she was happy in her marriage and had a good relationship with her husband Raja Raghuvanshi. Not only this, Sonam had also claimed that Raj Kushwaha is not her lover. Sonam said that she considered Raj as her brother. However, ignoring all these claims of Sonam, the court has refused to grant her bail.

Earlier in this case, it was revealed that both Sonam and Raja were missing in Meghalaya, after which it was being speculated that some untoward incident had happened to the couple. After this, suddenly one night Sonam reached a dhaba on the Varanasi-Ghazipur highway in UP and from there she called her brother from the dhaba owner’s phone. After this the police detained Sonam and then new revelations came in this case.
