VHP staged a massive protest outside the High Commission in Delhi against the brutal murder of a Hindu youth in Bangladesh.


New Delhi. Vishwa Hindu Parishad and other Hindu organizations are holding a strong protest today outside the Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi against the brutal murder of a Hindu youth named Dipu Chandra Das by fundamentalist rebels in Bangladesh. A large number of protesters are present outside the Bangladesh High Commission, holding banners and posters and raising slogans to ensure the safety of minority Hindus in Bangladesh. In view of the situation, security has been increased outside the High Commission. The protesters are being stopped by putting up barricades.

Paramilitary forces along with Delhi Police have also been deployed outside the Bangladesh High Commission. Barricades have been installed on the road side and monitoring is being done through CCTV. The protesters are demanding justice for Dipu Das. On the other hand, the security of the Indian Embassy located in Bangladesh has also been increased. Earlier on the night of 20th December also, some people had gathered and demonstrated outside the Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi. Whereas in Dhaka a day earlier on 22 December, Hindu organizations and minority groups had protested in front of the National Press Club.

Let us tell you that after the murder of Bangladesh student leader and Inquilab Manch spokesperson Usman Hadi, violence broke out there. The offices of many media organizations were set on fire by radical protesters. Incidents of vandalism were carried out at many places. Meanwhile, Dipu Das, who worked in a factory, was brutally beaten to death by fundamentalists in protest against the sacrilege of Islam. Not only this, his body was hanged from a tree and sticks were also showered on the body. Later the body was set on fire.
