When Congress MP Manickam Tagore compared RSS with terrorist organization Al-Qaeda, BJP got angry. BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli told Times Now channel that Congress has lost its mind. Nalin Kohli asked what Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have to say on this. At the same time, Congress’s ally Samajwadi Party termed it wrong to compare RSS with Al-Qaeda. Samajwadi Party spokesperson IP Singh, on this question asked by the channel, said that RSS should not have been compared with Al-Qaeda. SP spokesperson said that the majority in the country is Hindu. RSS is an organization of Hindus. Comparison of Al-Qaeda and RSS can worsen the communal atmosphere in the country.

In fact, senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh had praised RSS in a post on X. Digvijay Singh had said that RSS made Narendra Modi, an ordinary worker, the PM. After this, Digvijay Singh also said on Sunday that he opposes the ideology of RSS, but praises the way the organization is run. He also said on media’s question whether it is wrong to praise the running of an organization? Earlier, Congress spokespersons Pawan Kheda and Supriya Shrinet had said in reaction to Digvijay Singh’s statement that there is nothing to be learned from RSS. Both of them had also targeted RSS, but now Congress is in trouble due to Manickam Tagore’s controversial statement about RSS.
