Addressing the people present, Amit Shah said that more than one lakh bighas of land in Assam has been freed from infiltrators.

Amit Shah attacked Congress and said that it had promoted infiltrators for years. Amit Shah said that Congress talked about Assam, but by bringing the Act in 1983, it created a legal way for infiltrators to settle in Assam. He also accused Congress that it ruled for so many years, but did nothing for those who lost their lives for the Assam movement. Home Minister Amit Shah said that Kaziranga Park had also been captured by infiltrators. The Assam government has done the work of driving them away from there. The Modi government at the Center has taken steps to identify Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators. PM Narendra Modi himself had said from the Red Fort on Independence Day this year that his government is starting a demographic mission. Under this mission, it will be found out where the demography has changed in the country. It is alleged that apart from the areas of UP and Bihar bordering Nepal, Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators have made their place in the states of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Assam and South India. If we look at the figures, under the campaign conducted in Delhi on the instructions of Home Minister Amit Shah, around 2500 infiltrators have been caught and sent back to their country. Infiltrators from Assam are also being continuously identified and sent to Bangladesh. This has also heated up politics.
