New Delhi. Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE has released the revised schedule of 10th and 12th board exams to be held in 2026. CBSE has rescheduled the 10th and 12th board exams for March 3, 2026 due to administrative reasons. According to CBSE, the exam papers of class 10th which were to be held on March 3, 2026, will now be held on March 11 and class 12th on April 10, 2026. According to CBSE, the examination for Tibetan, Bhoti, Bhutia, Bodo, Tangkhul, Mizo, Kashmiri, German, Japanese, Spanish, Bahasa Melayu, Academic Electives, Book Keeping and Accountancy for the 10th board will be held on March 11, 2026. Whereas, the examination of Legal Studies of 12th board exam students has been fixed on 10th April 2026. From this year onwards CBSE 10th board exam will be held twice a year. CBSE has held the first round of 10th board examination from 17th February to 15th July. According to CBSE, in this way conducting 10th board exams twice a year will not put pressure on the students. They will also be able to prepare for the exam in a better way.

CBSE Exam 2025 Date Sheet

CBSE board exams are held across the country. In the year 2025, 2385079 students had registered for the CBSE 10th board examination. Out of which 2371939 students had appeared for CBSE 10th board exam. Of those who appeared for the exam, 93.66 percent i.e. 2221636 students had passed the CBSE 10th board exam. At the same time, 1692794 students had appeared in the CBSE 12th board examination of 2025. Out of these, 1496307 students were successful. In this way, the percentage of students passing the CBSE 12th board exam was 88.39. Of these, 91.64 percent were girls. More than 1 lakh students scored more than 90 percent marks in CBSE 12th board exams.
